Bhavana makes a comeback in Malayalam after five years through family drama

A few days ago, actress Bhavana had revealed in an interview that she is listening to Malayalam scripts to make a comeback into the industry, in which her last film was in 2017.
On Wednesday, she revealed through her online page that she is all set to do a film again in M-Town, by sharing the poster of her next, titled Ntikkakkakkoru Premondarnn. The movie, directed, written and edited by Adhil Maimoonath Asharaf, also has Sharafudheen in the lead.
The poster hints that film has connections with a variety of things ranging from Asian Games and general sports events, to camping and ‘Koikode’ food. A source close to the film tells us, “We will start the film’s shoot from the first week of May, and it will have various spots in Thrissur as the main locations. The film is a family drama, which also has a cute love story as part of it. The rest of the cast is also fixed, and we will be revealing them on later dates.” Interestingly, director Adhil has been assisting filmmaker Amal Neerad, before making his debut with this project.
Quiz the team why they picked Bhavana for the character and the source reveals, “The character in it demanded an artiste like her to perform it.” Apparently, Bhavana hadn’t given an immediate ‘yes’ to the project. “It took us some time to rope her in, it was not an immediate yes. However, as we were confident on our material and as she had liked the story, we kept following up. The discussions with her were quite overwhelming and there was a lot of space to talk things out,” explains the source.
